  • Register An Account

    At www.e-c-q.com specify a preferred language (English-Spanish).

    Go to the Open Account button on the top of your page.

    You will come to the Customer Service Agreement. Please be sure you read and understand the agreement before you hit the "I accept the terms of this agreement" button at the bottom of the page. If you do not agree to these terms you also have the option not to register an E-C-Q account.

    Now you are at the Account Registration Form. Be sure to fill in all the fields. Once completed, hit the submit button. Hitting your submit button sends your information to E-C-Q. You will be sent an email immediately, asking you to reply back to us in order to verify your email address. Once we receive your reply, you will be sent your E-C-Q account number.

    Start Using Your E-C-Q Account (Make a Deposit)

    Once you have an account number, go to our web site www.e-c-q.com, select a language, and hit the Registered Customers button.

    Fill in your Account Number (this was emailed to you after you replied), your User ID and Password (these were created when you registered). Hit login.

    You are now at the Active Account page. This is where you can make a deposit to activate your new E-C-Q account. Choose the method of deposit you will be using. Your selections to make a deposit are:

    Cash/Cheque/Money Order
    Credit Card
    Online Account Statement


    Be sure that you have completed:

  • Deposit amount
  • Type of currency
  • Method of deposit
  • Estimated time of arrival at the E-C-Q office (this will automatically default to 14 days).
  • When completed hit the submit button.

    You will then see the Deposit Summary. Verify the details of your deposit, and fees taken, go to the bottom of your page, enter your password, and hit submit. If you need to make changes hit the back button, adjust the details, enter your password again and hit submit.

    Your deposit will now be shown as accepted, as well as your account information and deposit amount. Print two copies of the deposit information. Mail one copy with your deposit and keep the second one for your personal records.

    You will see the status of your deposit as pending on your account statement. When your deposit reaches the E-C-Q office, the status of your deposit will change from Pending to either Hold or Release, depending on the type of deposit you have made.

    Write A Cheque On Your E-C-Q Account

    If your deposit was made by cheque, your deposit status will change from Pending to Hold until the funds have been cleared by your financial institution. If your deposit was made by Certified Cheque, Money Order, or Wire your status will change to Released.

    Once your deposit has been released by E-C-Q you are able to write a cheque on your E-C-Q account. Go to www.e-c-q.com, choose your preferred language, then enter the Registered Customer Area. To log in, enter your Account Number, User ID and Password.

    You may now select Write a Cheque under Make a Withdrawal. You will see an E-C-Q Cheque on your screen. Here you enter the following details:

  • Paid to
  • Merchant Email Address
  • Amount of Cheque
  • Type of Currency
  • Whether or not you would like to take advantage of our Partial Payment option
        which would entitle you to Mediation Insurance.
  • Merchant Reference Number (This is a number you will find on an order or shipment form used     by the Merchant and Customer to reference this purchase in the future. If a number cannot be     found enter the name of the item that you have purchased in this area.)

    You are then shown the Cheque details, including the amount of your Cheque and the fees charged. You will also notice that there is an area for shipping details. We ask that you fill this in just as a double record of shipping advice.

    After verifying all the details, scroll to the bottom of your page, enter your password, and hit submit.

    This will bring you to an on-line confirmation of your transaction, which you may print out for your personal records.

    Once your Cheque has been written the rest of the transaction is between E-C-Q Payment Systems and the Merchant.

    Change Your "User" Information

    You would do this if your email or place of residence have changed or if you are no longer content with your password.

    Go to www.e-c-q.com. Choose your preferred language and enter the Registered Customer Area. At the Customer Log in page, enter your Account Number, User ID and Password. You may now choose Change User Info under Account Management. You will be taken to a page where you can change some of your account information.

  • Customer name
  • E-mail address
  • Country
  • Province, State
  • City
  • Password

    Select the field that you would like to change and change the information. Hit the modify button.

    Who is E-C-Q?

    E-C-Q is a service designed to ensure everyone has the opportunity to buy and sell goods and services through this world encompassing communication network, the internet. E-C-Q provides special services of Partial Payment & Mediation Insurance. This type of service to customers aids merchants to build up their internet business. E-C-Q collects payments on merchants behalf and can deposit sales directly into their bank account. E-C-Q restores customer confidence in this wonderful shopping medium.

    * What Is Partial Payment?

    E-C-Q offers this unique service called Partial Payment to address customers concerns regarding the quality and guarantee value for fees. Partial Payment will also reduce the risk of non-delivery of goods, or the delivery of damaged goods.

    How this service works. A customer can choose partial payment or a merchant can pre-authorize partial payments for their product. When a customer buys a product, they specify a percent of the whole purchase price to pay immediately. For example, pay 60% now and 40% after 20 days from the date of the first cashed amount. By choosing this feature the customer has an opportunity to receive and approve the product they purchased. After 20 days, E-C-Q pays the balance of the funds directly to the merchant.

    Please Note: The customer always pays 100% up front. E-C-Q holds the balance of funds for 20 days.

    If there is a problem and the customer and merchant cannot work out a solution, the customer can utilize their Mediation Insurance to help solve the problem.

    ** What is Mediation Insurance?

    Mediation Insurance is a feature provided for customers and merchants who cannot come to a solution when there is a problem. This insurance provides up to 4 hours of professional mediation, mediators in problem solving.

    These mediators will look at the problem, listen to both sides of the dispute and will help both the merchant and customer communicate about their issue and come to a mutually satisfactory solution. There is a nominal fee for this insurance which must be bought at the time of the purchase.

    Mediation help in problem solving is provided by www.onlineresolution.com through the special arrangements made between E-C-Q and Online Resolution.
